I love Melbourne, and have just returned from a long weekend visiting a beautiful friend who lives there. Melbourne is well known for it's great cafes and bars, lovely old cobblestone roads in the city (not so common in Australia) and beautiful buildings, great boutiques that sell affordable well designed clothes, and last but not least fabulous artists and craftpeople. My apologies to Melbournians who are reading this thinking what about the great theatre, or dance or football. I was only there for 4 days and a girl can only do so much.

One of the exhibitions I saw in Melbourne which I loved, was an exhibition of Tasmanian jewellers.
I think these pieces by Marisa Molin are absolutely exquisite.
